Elephant Appreciation Day - SEPT 22nd 2012

International Elephant Appreciation Day

Let's celebrate the elephants!

The International Elephant Appreciation Day is an annual event which takes place on September 22nd.

Use this special event to bring elephants in mind of your family, friends and colleagues.

Everyone likes elephants, everyone who comes to Africa simply wants to see them. But what does 'everyone' know about elephant poaching and protection?

HERE IS YOUR CHALLENGE: Link to this web site, tell via twitter about W.A.G.'s work and last but not least let your childs draw pictures of elephants (and send to us! We will publish them here).

W.A.G. spend all its time protecting Malawis elephants and their habitat. The main threats are the illegal ivory trade and deforestation. Show your support in what ever way you can.

We are very thankful for the support of our generous donors and partners in our continuous effort to protect Malawi’s forest and wildlife for future generations. THANK YOU!
